Part 4/6 "Making a Difference" When Grace pervades the Classroom (curriculum, discipline, etc.)

Chapters 11-14
Curriculum choices, activities and assignments, measurement and grading, and classroom behavior and management are affected by grace like you see in the Dead Poet's Society clip, and it profoundly shifts how we conduct a classroom and what we teach. Grace in these aspects of education makes room for creativity and fulfills responsibility to train children in the way they should go and the knowledge they should know. Video 1, "Goofy - teachers are people" is a poor example of classroom management, but a good laugh, and video 2 on schools and creativity stretches the cranium delightfully: "Sir Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?" from the TED Talks [one of my favorite edu vids atm :) Ones used in this blog and more in my edu Youtube playlist]
